Public education is a conspiracy between the government and corporations implemented to train employees to be compliant and teach kids that the best way to fit in and feel good is to buy stuff. The only difference between then (early 20th century) and now is that ‘lifelong’ learning is the process of constant reinforcement of this foundational story/mythic narrative.
