Here is the first student podcast in the series on mass communication and media literacy. It’s a test to see how effective the podpress plugin could be for this and other podcasts in the future.

What’s nice about this plugin is that I can add different files. So there’s the soundfile which can be played in the post, downloaded or played in a pop-up, and then the .pdf version of the PowerPoint file giving notes about how that podcast was produced. Both are available through the feed in iTunes.

That kind of framework would be useful for mini-lectures + notes + reading list, all delivered through iTunes to various platforms.
