The digital noticeboard for the BA (Hons) programme seems to working well. It integrates the various electronic platform used by staff and students and allows updates from our most basic tool – email.

Of course we still have physical noticeboards which get crowded with stuff and where paper versions of the digital noticeboard (should) get posted. But what about a natural extension of the digital noticeboard? Couldn’t we use a monitor stuck on the wall to screen updates as they are posted? Maybe a simple usb digital photo-frame would do.

More of a note to self – but I think this might be a nice innovation to introduce next year.
