Daniel Kraft: Medicine’s future? There’s an app for that

Two old guys are sitting in a room full of other old guys in a residential home. There’s not much going on: a bit of mumbling, wall-talking, and stares into the great unknown. One turns to the other and quips, “Just think John, if we hadn’t given up smoking and stopped drinking, we’d have missed all this”.

Here’s a rather hysterical run-through of the future of medicine as seen by Daniel Kraft. And it’s all positive. No side-effects to the techno-utopianism of P4 medicine – predictive, preventative, personalised and participatory – driven by connected, crowd-sourced data and available on a mobile device in your pocket.

No mention of death here. But maybe … there’ll be an app for that.
