After reading the thread on the Mumbai terrorist attacks I thought this would make an interesting topic for discussion. Most of us are aware that the internet has certainly boosted the stocks of “citizen journalism” – the rise of blogs and connectivity has made this very easy. We also have the established news outlets that have traditionally relied on trained reporters, photojournalists, editors, etc.
