One of the requests that I’ve had for improving the communications hub for social change is to use category rss feeds so that level 1  and level 2 students can subscribe to different feeds. It could also mean more fine-grained feeds into Facebook.

Until Tony Hirst pointed me to Science of the Invisible I didn’t know it could be done in blogger/blogspot. Now I do. So on my blogspot test site I’ve use the label (blogspot’s nomenclature for categories) level2. The rss feed for that category is:

http://clivestest.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default/-/Level2?alt=rss

It also works with tags

Now I need to find out how an email to blogspot can specify a label/tag then it’s done. Could be a project for end of term.
